Any person can make a disclosure about improper conduct relating to public bodies and public officers. This includes members of the public, employees, councillors and volunteers.
This policy aims to provide for the protection of persons making disclosures from detrimental actions and to provide for the confidentiality of the content of those disclosures and the confidentiality of the identity of persons who make such disclosures.
