An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join our Arboriculture team in a permanent full-time position.
As our next Arborist, you will be able to:
- Assist with manual work including all aspects of tree maintenance such as chainsaw operation, maintenance of trees of trees, EWP Operation, tree planting programs, chipper operation and occasional tree climbing.
- Effectively and efficiently perform the duties associated with the safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to safe work practices and OH&S requirements.
- Work with contractors on an as needs basis.
Ideally, you will possess a Certificate III in Arboriculture, or will have partial or lesser qualifications with a willingness to commit to TAFE studies towards a Certificate III in Arboriculture. You will be a self-motivated, passionate individual with a strong safety focus that contributes to a positive and productive team culture.
Your remuneration will be dependent on your level of experience, in accordance with our EBA agreement.
