Casual Parks & Gardens Staff

Council is looking to create a ‘pool’ of suitable casual employees to work within our Parks & Garden team during peak season and other staff absences as they may arise.

As part of the Parks & Gardens team you will be able to:

• Perform routine garden maintenance, including planting, pruning, spray and hand weeding, and mulching
• Turf management 
• Ensure proper care of plants, flowers, and shrubs to promote healthy growth
• Assist in landscape design and enhancement projects

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in garden maintenance or landscaping
• Relevant qualifications in horticulture or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of plant care, pest control, and irrigation systems
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively
