Rutherglen Gold Battery Committee

The role of this committee is to manage and coordinate the use of the Gold Battery.

This Committee's functions and responsibilities are:

  1. To be responsible for the effective management of the Rutherglen Gold Battery (RGB) facilities for and on behalf of the Council for the benefit of Rutherglen and the wider community.
  2. Maintain appropriate accounting procedures and policies, and report to Council in a manner determined by the Council.
  3. To be responsible for promoting and publicising the RGB and its facilities to maximise the benefits to the local community and visitors.
  4. To actively pursue funding for the development of the RGB facility.
