The objectives of the community grants and awards advisory committee are to:

Consider all applications submitted under the Community Grants Program.
Make recommendations to Council on successful projects
Consider all nominations for Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year Awards and the Emma George Scholarship and make recommendations to Council.
