We've secured extra funding under the Federal Government's Local Road and Community Infrastructure Program to complete a range of capital works projects in addition to the current 20-21 budget.
The $1.15M extra funds will enable a range of projects, prioritised for future capital works programs, to be completed earlier.
The additional funding will help stimulate the local economy by contracting local contractors and material suppliers where possible.
Council has put forward a number of projects to share in the funding and is awaiting final approval from the Federal Government. Among them is additional money to complete the Kiewa Multi-purpose pavilion as well as a number of footpath renewals, playground extensions, and road upgrades.
The full list of projects to be funded can be found by clicking on the document under related information to the left.
