We've completed an Industrial Land Feasibility Assessment to determine the availability of industrial land relative to demand, across the Shire.
An appropriate level of available industrial land in appropriate locations is critical to ensure future industrial enterprise can be undertaken to facilitate economic growth in the Shire.
The Feasibility Assessment identified currently zoned land and overlaid a modelled future demand scenario to establish a view on emerging land availability.
Within the report, a number of recommendations have been formed by Council to ensure industrial land development opportunities are identified across the Shire and that Council’s role in facilitating industrial precinct development is articulated.
The feasibility assessment serves as a foundation piece for the development of a substantive Industrial Land Strategy to be developed by Council.
