About me

I live in Barnawartha with my two children and have spent most of my life in North East Victoria. My family has deep roots here, with five generations spread across the Shire.

I was first elected to Council in 2016 and served as Mayor from 2022 to 2024.

I'm passionate about bringing our community's aspirations to life. I love connecting people with the right contacts at Council or within different government departments. My goal is to help build and plan communities that attract families and tourists, showcasing all that we have to offer.

I'm always eager to meet with community groups to understand their concerns or to attend local events. I look forward to getting out and meeting more of you.

What I would like to achieve

The next four years promise to be interesting. The economic landscape has changed significantly since I first joined the Council in 2016. We're facing tight budget constraints, both locally and from Federal and State Governments.

Our challenge is to balance essential infrastructure needs like roads, drainage, and footpaths with the aspirational projects our communities want. I'm excited to work with the new Council group and see what we can achieve together.
