Bruarong Community Centre

Rebuilt after the Black Saturday bushfires of 2009, the modern Bruarong Community Centre is set on over 2 acres and is situated 11km south of Yackandandah.

Community dinners occur quarterly and invitations are mailed to local community residents. These dinners provide an opportunity to share wholesome home cooked meals and a create a sense of community connectiveness.

Community Centre bookings

The Community Centre is available for hire and consists of:

  • 50 sq. m internal communal area
  • tables and chairs
  • large fully appointed kitchen
  • large timber deck area with outdoor bench seating
  • split system heating and cooling
  • male/ female and wheelchair accessible toilets.

The facility includes partially landscaped grounds and gardens.

HIRE FEES:

(Insurance rates apply if you cannot supply a current public liability insurance certificate of currency certificate)

Day rate 8am-4pm; $15 per hour plus $40 for PL Insurance fee.

Community groups meetings (max 3 hrs); $25 plus $40 for PL Insurance fee.

Private functions and Night rate 4pm-10pm; $150, plus $40 insurance, plus a $500 deposit (refundable upon inspection).

Hall must be left clean, tidy and as it was found, if not, a cleaning/maintenance fee will be charged.
