Chiltern Cemetery was established in 1880 and is managed by a Trust consisting of 8 local community members under the auspices of the Department of Health.
The cemetery has monumental sections, these are Church of England, Catholic, Wesleyan, Presbyterian, Jewish and Chinese.
There is also a lawn section and 2 ashwalls for cremated ashes.

The Cemetery is open for pedestrian access 24 hours a day. Each Sunday (and special days such as Christmas) the gates are open for vehicle access between 10am - 3pm.
