Quercus Beechworth

Quercus Beechworth is a much respected community organisation and part of the Australian Neighbourhood House Network of Victoria. With 6 part time staff and over 80 volunteers, we welcome over 600 visitors to our locations each week.

At Quercus the community is encouraged to participate in a calendar of seasonal and ongoing classes, activities and workshops. With great community spaces available for hire and an ongoing variety of local events on offer - Camera Club, Martial Arts, Dancing, Yoga Jobs & Skills Centre: along with the regular Quercus offerings of the Repair Cafe, Flea Market, IT Helpdesk (and more!), Beechworth’s surrounding community have a wonderful space to gather and connect.

The Quercus Community Garden welcomes your visit year round with offerings of seasonal produce at the Grow Free Stand along with the generous donations of produce from our community member’s own gardens!

For those who may need additional assistance, we provide caring, confidential support and access to free meals, fresh food and pantry items, emergency relief support for financial, emotional or physical hardship and can further assist in the event of a community incident or disaster.

Our two social enterprises - The Quercus Community Bookshop and Our Quercus Community Op Shop generate sufficient funds for us to be able to do this and more within our community.
