The Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee meets four times a year and is made up of some of Australia’s leading museum and heritage architecture professionals including the presidents of both national and State museum and gallery associations.
The group of nine provides expert strategic advice and recommendations on the Shire’s extensive collections, heritage buildings, cultural heritage best practice, conservation and promotion of Indigo’s significant heritage assets.
A four year cultural heritage plan guides the committee’s direction for meetings which are held via Zoom.
