Outreach and Home Delivery
Outreach library services are an essential component of Indigo Libraries, designed to extend resources and services beyond the physical walls of our library branches. These programs aim to serve community members who may face barriers in accessing library facilities directly, such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and residents of remote or underserved areas. Indigo Libraries outreach services include home delivery services, digital resources accessible from home, and community events held in partnership with local organisations. By prioritising accessibility and inclusivity, outreach library services ensure that the benefits of public libraries—education, information, and community connection—are available to all, regardless of physical or geographical limitations.
