VICSWIM has provided Victorians with fun and educational aquatic holiday programs since 1976. VICSWIM focuses on learn to swim and water safety skills, both in pools and open water venues across the state and now offers new locations to meet an increasing demand.

VICSWIM seeks to ensure that all Victorians have the opportunity to access water safety, survival and swimming programs for children that maximise safety and attitudes, ensuring confidence and the ability to enjoy aquatic environments.

The program is a low cost, 4-5 day intensive summer program teaching swimming and water safety to children from 4 years of age. Each program consists of 5 x 30 minute lessons (or 4 x 35 minute lessons for Week 1) starting at the same time each day throughout the week.

Parents are encouraged to enrol their children into 1, 2 or 3 programs across the 3 weeks on offer in January.

The VICSWIM Summer Kidz 2023 Program received over 16,500 bookings across the state and over 13,400 of those were in the first 24 hours! Don't leave it until it's too late!

The weeks for VICSWIM 2024 season are:

Week one – Tuesday 2 January – Friday 5 January (3:30PM to 6:30PM)
Week two – Monday 8 January – Friday 12 January (3:30PM to 6:30PM)
Week three – Monday 15 January – Friday 19 January (3:30PM to 6:30PM)

Please note: Week 1 of the 2024 program will run Tuesday-Friday, and will not run on the Monday public holiday. The weekly charge will remain at $35 for the 4 lessons, however, lessons will be extended from 30 minutes to 35 minutes during this week to make up for the lost day.

We are a Watch Around Water facility. This program was developed to educate the public about adequate supervision and encourage parent/guardians to take on this responsibility when visiting a public aquatic facility.

Therefore, the following safe supervision policies must be adhered to:

Children under 5 years old

• Will be issued a yellow wristband from reception upon entry.
• Children under 5 years old must be constantly supervised by a parent/guardian.
• Adequate supervision requires the parent/guardian to accompany the child in the water and remain within arm's reach of the child at all times.

Children under 10 years old

• Children under 10 years old will not be admitted without an appropriate parent/guardian. The parent/guardian must be 16 years or over and adhere to all conditions of entry.
• Children under 10 years old must be constantly supervised by a parent/guardian while in the aquatic area of the centre.
• The parent/guardian must position himself or herself to have a clear view of the child with no physical or structural barriers between them and the child.

Children 10 years and older

• For children 10 years and older, parents must use their knowledge of the child's swimming ability to determine the level of supervision required.
• Parent /guardians are not required to be present in the centre.

• Solar heated 25m main pool.
• Solar heated toddler pool.
• Solar heated baby pool.
• Canteen with cold drinks and snacks available.
