Council's role in emergencies is to provide resources, support and education to the community to ensure they feel confident and prepared for emergency situations. In 2024 Indigo Shire Council will deliver a series of free community workshops called The First 72 Hours. These workshops will help individuals understand their role in emergency management, explore resources available and discuss important points in creating an emergency plan. Resources are also available on the following pages for you to explore.

Learn more about the why, who, when, where and what you need to create your emergency plan. This information has been developed as a part of 'The First 72 Hours Workshop' and is a great guide for anyone who was unable to attend or who wants to access the resources.
