Planning fees and charges

Planning fees are statutory fees set by the Victorian Government in the Planning and Environment (Fees) Further Interim Regulations 2013.

Your Application fee will be determined based on the class, type and estimated cost of the development associated with your proposal.

Please note, following detailed assessment by the planner, additional fees may be requested under Section 54 of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 to facilitate the processing of your application.

Additional fees may include:

  • Applications that require Public Notice
  • Amendments to permits
  • Extending planning permits
  • Planning scheme amendments
  • Certificates of Compliance with the planning scheme

Once your application is lodged with Council you will be contacted regarding the associated fee/s.
