In 2020-21, Indigo Shire Council will spend more than $660,000 building, replacing and maintaining a number of footpaths across the shire.
The table below lists the works that we will undertake over the next year to improve our footpath network.
Construction of a new footpath heading south from Jackman Drive connecting the new estate with the existing footpath at 18 Huon-Kiewa Road including two new pram crossings.

Construction of a concrete footpath between Camp Street and Junction Road. Concreting sections of this highly used path will better provide for wheelchair access, safer access to the primary school and increasing tourist traffic to the historic precinct.
This length of path is the final link in the important connection between the main route through the town centre (Conness Street) and the historic precinct on Main Street.
