We are constructing a new footpath along Conness Street, Chiltern as part of our annual program to improve the Shire's footpath network.
The new concrete footpath will be constructed to run along Conness Street from the section of Rohner to High Street, and then will continue along Gaunt Street from High Street to Albert Road.
In the last week of August, works are well underway with the construction of a vehicle crossing at Rohner Street.
This is the first of a number of stages of construction that our team will undertake to complete the works through to Albert Road.
The final stage of the footpath, from Epsom Road, across the floodway, will be completed at a later date, pending VicRoads funding and design modifications to existing culverts.
